Dr. Rosado

Dr. Marian Rosado is a clinical psychologist with specialties in Neuropsychology, Rehabilitation/Health Psychology, Pediatric, and Forensic Psychology. At NeuroBehavioral Alliance, LLC, Dr. Rosado conducts neuropsychological evaluations with children, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics who are English and/or Spanish speaking. She provides assessments and consultative services for patients and veterans with chronic medical conditions, neurodegenerative disorders, neurological disorders, and neuropsychiatric disorders. She also provides individual psychotherapy, telehealth medicine, and cognitive rehabilitation services. Her areas of specialty in therapy include marriage and family therapy, trauma and crisis intervention, conversion disorders, depression and anxiety, pain management, and behavioral health management for patients with Spinal Cord Injury, Traumatic Brain Injury, Burn, or Amputation. 

 

Dr. Rosado received her doctorate in Clinical Psychology from the American School of Professional Psychology in Tampa, FL. She completed her APA accredited internship at Jackson Memorial Hospital, Adult Behavioral Medicine, Rehabilitation, and Neuropsychology Track in Miami, FL. While at JMH served as the Chief Psychology Intern and received the University of Miami/Jackson Memorial Hospital Intern of the Year Award. 

 

She also completed a two-year ABCN Affiliated Neuropsychology Fellowship at the University of Miami, Miller School of Medicine where she provides neuropsychological evaluations and consultations to individuals with suspected brain dysfunction including brain injury, cerebrovascular accidents, brain tumors, neurodegenerative disease processes or impact on the brain as a result of chronic medical illness and/or their treatment. She also completed additional specialized training as an AGE Scholars Fellow to enhance specialization in neurodegenerative disorders and neuropsychological evaluation among the geriatric population. After her fellowship, she transitioned into faculty and is now a UM Volunteer Assistant Professor and has her own private practice. 

 

Dr. Rosado a military veteran and an active member at Elevate Church in Miami Lakes, FL where she and her husband lead an online life group.  She and her husband are also active members of their community and work together to mentor young minority leaders.
